Elena Duncan

Junior Coach
Brief info

Elena Duncan is one of the assistant youth coaches at Duncan MMA and helps lead the Little Ninjas program for ages 4–6, as well as assisting with both Youth Kickboxing and Kids Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes. At just 14 years old, with over a decade of training, Elena has already built an impressive foundation in martial arts and plays an important role in helping younger students learn discipline, coordination, and confidence on the mats.

Elena holds a Purple Belt in SGC Karate & Kickboxing and an Orange Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. She trains regularly across both striking and grappling and is an active competitor in kickboxing and BJJ. Her dedication to training and competition has helped her develop strong technical skills at a young age, along with the confidence to perform under pressure.

One of Elena’s most notable accomplishments came when she won her first gold medal in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at the adult blue belt level at just 13 years old—a testament to both her skill and her willingness to challenge herself against tougher opponents.

As a coach, Elena brings patience, enthusiasm, and a natural ability to connect with younger students. She enjoys helping new athletes feel comfortable in the gym and guiding them through the early stages of their martial arts journey. By leading through example—hard work, discipline, and respect—she helps build the positive and family-oriented culture that Duncan MMA is known for.
